About the role
KetaPay is building Nigeria's most trusted escrow payment platform. As our Content Manager Intern, you'll own the words that introduce KetaPay to buyers, sellers, and businesses across the country. You'll work directly with the founding team to shape our website copy, write blog posts that educate Nigerian users on safe online transactions, and maintain a consistent brand voice across every channel. This is a hands-on role with real ownership from day one.
What you'll do
- Write and update website copy across all pages — homepage, product, careers, and more
- Plan and write long-form blog posts on escrow, fintech, and trust in Nigerian commerce
- Manage and grow our social media presence (Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Instagram)
- Collaborate with the design team on landing page copy and campaign messaging
- Monitor content performance and suggest improvements based on analytics
- Maintain a content calendar and ensure consistent publishing cadence
- Research competitors and industry trends to keep KetaPay's content relevant
What we're looking for
- Strong writing skills in English — clear, concise, and engaging
- Familiarity with SEO basics (keyword research, meta descriptions, internal linking)
- Comfortable using Google Docs, Notion, or similar tools
- Ability to write in a conversational, human tone — not corporate-speak
- Self-starter who can take a brief and run with it
Nice to have
- Experience writing for a fintech, startup, or Nigerian brand
- Basic understanding of how CMS platforms work (Sanity, WordPress, etc.)
- Portfolio of published writing or a personal blog
- Familiarity with tools like Buffer, Hootsuite, or similar scheduling tools
